Nature's Ballet

Nature’s symphony plays

Its unrehearsed melody

While autumn leaves perform

Their impromptu

Yet graceful ballet

Allegro arabesque pirouette

They tumble and twirl

Jete’ pause and 

Cheerfully swirl

Dancing tirelessly

Across an open stage

Over valleys and hills

They find their way

With precision and skill

Gliding in harmony on

A cool brisk breeze

From calm to a frenzy

Their movements repeat

Before the arrival

Of a long winter freeze

The wind grows weary

Time to slumber

Leaves

Landing lightly

Amid soil grass

And lumber

Grand Pas d'action

Then brief  intermission
While the wind

Arranges a fresh new score

For the next

Brilliantly natural

Spontaneous encore
