Dear God,
We the people, are giving you notice to evacuate the premises immediately. We are no longer in need of your services.
We as a nation have outgrown you. Yes, we realize that our forefathers consulted you in every decision that was made in the foundation of our country, but that’s history.
We also know that you were with us during every battle our nation has ever fought and that you helped us become the successful nation that we are today. We appreciate your past services, but no longer find them productive or needed. Our progressive members have voted to dismiss you.
We have advanced far beyond our forefathers and you just don’t have the skills to satisfy our rapidly growing nation. Your job performance is beneath our level of acceptance. Frankly, you are out of style and old fashioned.
We are aware of your book and we heard about “miracles” that you supposedly performed. Unfortunately, that’s hearsay. We need to see you and your miracles on a regular basis in order to keep you on.
Your name is being removed from our institutions as I write this notice. This includes schools, courts, businesses, both non-profit and profitable, music, etc.
Any reference to you by your subordinates will result in disciplinary actions against them.
The mention of your son Jesus Christ will result in immediate termination.
There will be no more holidays in which you or your son are included.
